This has been a crazy summer. This morning I walked out on my front porch. Engulfed in the familiar smells of fall and surrounded by its leafy remnants its good to finally be home. I have been going going going since May. No time to breathe... Its been amazing but I am looking forward to fall.
I'm taking a break from my processing, let me take a moment to catch you up on my 365.

10/03/07 is an exceptionally important day to my husband and I. He surprised me with the following prior to a perfect night out. Salmon Colored Gerber Daisies, Martinis, Chocolate Marquis (yum) and the most perfect man. It's funny how when you least expect it life changes you.

My new baby. A gift from my husband the Tamron 28-75mm f2/8. I'm in love... and I like then lens a LOT too.

Fall is here and the last of the leaves are falling off the trees. For the last couple of days I have been struck by the beauty of the leaves on one particular tree. Until today I just hadn't had the time to stop and photograph them. With a new lens and a lazy Sunday I could think of no better time...
In addition I just had to share with you all my favorite photo of the moment. I love the ethereal beauty of this one.
